4-5 p.m. Dec. 3. Parade begins at corner of West Llewellyn and Washington streets in Clarkesville.

5-8 p.m. Old-fashioned holiday market, tree lighting, contests, live nativity and carolers in downtown Clarkesville.

Christmas at the Gorge

1-4 p.m. Dec. 3. Tallulah Gorge State Park, Tallulah Falls. Photos with Santa Claus, activity stations for children, a Christmas story with the Clauses and snacks. Holiday music will be provided by students from Tallulah Falls School.

Holiday Open House at the Gold Museum

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 4.

Dahlonega Gold Museum Historic Site, Dahlonega.

The museum will be beautifully decorated and admission will be waived.

Dahlonega's 28th annual Old Fashioned Christmas

1-4 p.m. Dec. 3. Visit Santa in downtown Dahlonega.

4:30 p.m. Dec. 3. Old-fashioned Christmas parade, lighting of tree at Visitors Center following the parade.

SNCA's Christmas at the Cabin

3-7 p.m. Dec. 3. Santa's arrival in Sautee Nachoochee. The African American Heritage Site will host a Victorian celebration with traditional period decorations and activities.

Tours of the cabin, music and caroling, hayrides and a visit with Santa are free.

Helen for the Holidays

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 3-4. Christkindlmarkt will take place in the Helen Market Platz.

Deck the Halls at Unicoi State Park

3-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Holiday celebration includes holiday crafts, hayrides (weather permitting) a special meal in the park's restaurant, and music in the decorated lodge.
