For three nights and two days, the city of Cornelia plans to inundate its town with artistry and music during Haber-Jam next weekend.
Visitors may eye displays from national and regional artists or participate in art demonstrations and a chalkwalk competition. Children can be part of the interactive art zone.
After looking at all of the art, people can feast on concessions from local restaurants and Atlanta area food trucks.
During the entire weekend, the Cornelia Summer Concert Series will build toward its finale. Kicking off music on Friday night is The Dirty Doors and White Winged Dove, which is a tribute band for Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. A variety of musical genres will be featured Saturday with headliners, The Glenn Phillips Band and Moses Mo with Two Ton Message. Sunday is Homemade Habersham day featuring resident and country/Southern rock sensation John King.
The rain-or-shine event will be from 7-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. All events will be at Cornelia City Park at 601 Wyly St.
