If you want to add a little color to your summer, the Hamilton Rhododendron Garden is open to visitors at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee. The fairgrounds has operated the garden since 1982. To raise revenue for improvements, the garden's original greenhouses were restored and a Hamilton Garden Shop was added.
