Local professional musicians will put their talents to use for the Gainesville Sinfonietta 2014 this Sunday in Flowery Branch. The free second annual symphony concert will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 5 in the sanctuary of Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church, 4675 Winder Highway, Flowery Branch. Gainesville native, Logan Souther, will conduct the musicians in works by Felix Mendelssohn, Edward Elgar and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
