Malachi Mills and Logan Pethel formed the Whispering Gypsies as the two high school baseball teammates jammed together, according to the Whispering Gypsies Facebook page. Then the pair booked a gig at Picnic Cafe in Dahlonega. After a few other gigs and positive reactions from fans, The Whispering Gypsies officially became a band.
Mills and Pethel met bassist Sean Thomas and began writing songs. Afterward and with the help of Mile 1 Records, the Whispering Gypsies released their single “If I Was Yours” on iTunes and Spotify.
Now, the band has released its debut EP “Good Times,” which is available on iTunes.
The Whispering Gypsies also cater to birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, house parties, private fundraisers, summer bashes, back-to-school bonanazas, bowling parties and everything in between, according to the website.
