Known for its beach-themed drinks and dishes, lakeside breezes and panoramic views, Sunset Cove Beach Café and Club at Georgia’s Lanier Islands will host a Full Moon Party Saturday, Aug. 1 and Saturday, Aug. 29.

Inspired by the original Full Moon Parties hosted in Key West, Fla., Sunset Cove pulls out all of the stops on entertainment from 7-11 p.m. The lunar-themed events are filled with food and drink specials, glow-in-the-dark gear, rockin’ live entertainment, fire breathers, jugglers, stilt walkers, dancing and beachside bonfires. Each Full Moon Party ends with a bang as fireworks burst over the lake.

The featured entertainment on the Sunset Cove Stage at the two August Full Moon Parties includes Darcy & Co. on Aug. 1 and Hudson Road Band on Aug. 29.

The second Full Moon Party also marks the advent of the Supermoon when the moon appears the largest because it’s at the closest point to Earth.

Admission to Full Moon Parties is included for LanierWorld Season Pass and Daily Admission Ticket holders. A cover of just $20 admits guests who wish to attend the only the party. This price does not include $10 resort gate admission for passenger cars or dock fees for boaters.
