Believing in the philosophy of art being “more than a picture,” trained architect Christopher Sherry will impart his artistic knowledge in an open-studio style setting. Sherry will teach a painting open studio class at Quinlan Visual Arts Center, with the first session running Aug. 14 to Sept. 18. Two time slots are available every Thursday: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for intermediate and advanced painters and 1:30-4 p.m. for beginners.
