The Habersham Community Theater’s production of “Dearly Beloved” will run June 8-10 and June 14-16.

The play is the first in a trilogy about the fictional Futrelle Sisters, Frankie, Honey Raye and Twink, who live in a small town in Texas called Fayro. What happens as the sisters plan for an “elaborate wedding” that goes terribly wrong is the recipe for laughter.

The trilogies were written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jaimie Wooten, American playwrights collectively known as Jones Hope Wooten.

Their other two plays, “Christmas Belles” and “Southern Hospitality,” are hopefuls for upcoming HCT seasons.

“I really have enjoyed getting to know the Futrelle family” says Director Justin Dudkiewicz. “The characters are real people who audiences will identify with; they are family, friends and neighbors.”

Cast members represent Habersham County as well as Franklin, Banks, Stephens and White counties. They include DeDe Ross, Alta Moseley and Allison Singer as the Futrelle sisters.

Tickets are $13 for adults, $8 for children and full-time students. To purchase them, call 706-839-1315 or visit
