Roslyn Kaczor tests out the bungee jump ride last year during Boy Scout Troop 228’s annual fall festival in the historic downtown. This year’s festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5.
For more than a dozen years, youth from Flowery Branch Boy Scout Troop 228 have entertained thousands during the annual fall festival on Oct. 5 in Old Town Flowery Branch. “This gives the boys a chance to get out of their uniforms and just remind peopled what the Boy Scouts of America is really all about,” said Michelle Harkins, chair for this year’s festival. “This fundraiser is very important to the troop, so we can provide a great solid program for the boys.”
