Abstract paintings by German artist Jurgen Tarrasch will be on display through April 3 at the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art in Demorest. Tarrasch graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland, with an MFA degree in 1993. In 1999, he moved to Birmingham, Ala., where he continues to paint and exhibit his works in the United States and Europe.
