Based on an original story by Hans Christian Anderson, the show is being directed Ben Toler and Windy Lane and accompanied with eye-catching costumes designed by Brandy Honeycutt. And the high school students will perform the fishy fable’s songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”

“The students are at varying, yet high, levels of skill and artistry,” Toler said. “Many of them have fairly extensive educational and professional resumes already. But the caliber of the students goes well beyond their knowledge and skills in theater. Each one of the students involved is so because they are highly invested in the program. Simply put: They’re here because they want to be.”
