The Crystal Clear Guitar Ensemble will finish its concert season with a performance at 7 p.m. June 13 at Lanier Community Church.

The Crystal Clear Guitar Ensemble climaxes its 2014-2015 season in a performance with Spirit Wind Records artists Lackawanna Sky.

The concert will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at Lanier Islands Community Church, 6302 Lanier Islands Parkway, in Buford.

The ensemble is made up of Amilyn Gurta and Victoria Lewis, both of Jones Middle School; Maggi Mitchell, Phoenix Pennington and Elise Page, all of Osborne Middle School; and Abihnav Vishwanath of Rivertrail Middle School.

The season finale is in conjunction with the Northeast Georgia 2015 Summer Guitar Camp. The members of Crystal Clear attend as a group and will be coached by Master Teacher Russell Ferrara, the guitarist of Lackawanna Sky, who will be in residence at the camp for the third year running. The camp runs June 8-12 at Lanier Islands Community Church and is open to children between the ages of 7-13 who are playing the guitar at any level or just beginning.

The annual Northeast Georgia Summer Guitar Camp is designed to introduce beginners to the guitar and enhance the skills of those already playing. Campers between the ages of 7 and 13 who are beginning or ongoing guitar students are eligible to enroll. Beginning students will be provided with a guitar to use for the week of camp, which they will have the option to purchase at the end of the week.
