Imagine an artist creating a masterpiece before your eyes in mere moments.

A mixture of voices, choreography and audience interaction,­ the troupe Artrageous can accomplish this feat and will do so in Gainesville. Artrageous will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, in Pearce Auditorium on the Brenau University campus at 500 Washington St. in Gainesville.

Tickets are $35 for adults, $32 for senior citizens 65 and older and $28 for students. Series tickets are $85 and include performances from Artrageous, The Joe Gransden Big Band featuring guest vocalist Annie Sellick and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra featuring guest vocalist Robert Cantrell.

The first performance is from Artrageous, a troupe of artists, musicians, singers and dancers who pay tribute to various of art forms, pop icons and musical genres culminating in a gallery of finished paintings. Its signature is interaction and engagement, so audience members need to be prepared to be a part of the show.

The musical troupe has performed for celebrities such as Sir Richard Branson, Steve Forbes and General Colin Powell.

They have also traveled to venues all over the world from India to Thailand, Paris to Austria.
