Cornelia residents may create magical holiday memories through an abundance of activities Friday night at the Community House and in Cornelia City Park.

To start, ice skating has returned to the park.

Next, children and adults alike can get crafty in the elf workshop in the basement of the Community House. Make-and-take craft stations are available for free for children. Then they can visit the big man himself, Santa.

Upstairs, adults shop with various vendors in the Christmas Market for gifts.

For outdoor activities, participants may drive through the light display or hop on the hayride for a slow tour of the lights while listening to Christmas carols under the cover of blankets. Or they may partake of S’mores and hot cocoa around the fire pits.

Events are from 6-9 p.m. Friday at 601 Wyly St. in Cornelia. Cost is $10. Group rates are available.
