Charles Dickens is on tour in Northeast Georgia — or at least actor James Ridge portraying Dickens. “Dickens in America,” a one-man play, will be presented tonight in Dahlonega and Saturday and Sunday in Buford. Dickens arrived in New York in 1867 for a reading tour, and Ridge picks up that story on his final stop during the American tour.
