Band to perform concert, play at dance in Sautee

Members of the band ContraForce — Andrae Raffield on fiddle, Joey Dorwart on drums and saxophone and Jimi “Two Nails” Periano on acoustic and electric guitar — will perform a concert in Sautee this weekend.
While most contra bands descend upon Sautee for one night, the three-piece band ContraForce will arrive a day early to perform a special concert Friday night and follow it up as the entertainment at the regular contra dance Saturday. The Friday night concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association center’s theater. Reserved seating is $12 for adults and $8 for students.
