The Chestatee 12-year-old junior War Eagles football team recently won the Regional Midget South NGYFA Championship.

Members of the team include: Trevor Price, Johnathan West, Kyle Perry, Drew Bryant, Cody Cronic, Daniel White, Kelly Arthur, Johnathan Cook, Daniel Mejia, Vaughn Green, Hunter Stancil, Joshua Puckett, Jordan Degraff, Baker McCormack, Mason McNair, Manual Najera, Peyton Baker, Alex Martin, Cody Allen, Josh Allen, Dillon Sturm, Quan Clark, Ryland Washington, Wyatt Burgess, Aaron Manders, Nigel Brooks.

Coaches for the junior War Eagles include: Clarence Bell, Bill West, Bob Sturm and Chris Stancil.

The Jr. War Eagles cheerleaders were Katelyn West, Courtney Allen, Aaliyah Lee, Alexis Lee, Kristen Chadwick, Lindsey Holcomb, Autumn Mize, Carli Brookshire, Katie Ivey, Krista Rappaport, Sara Johnson and Cherish Stewart.

Coaches for the cheerleaders were Danyelle Holcomb and Michelle Grindle.
