The Gainesville 10- and 11-year-old Little League All-Stars took their first loss in the Georgia State Tournament,10-0 to the Northern Little League All-Stars from Columbus on Monday at Murphy Candler Park in Atlanta.

Gainesville is now 1-1 in pool play and 5-1 overall. They return to Murphy Candler Park at 8 p.m. Wednesday against Augusta’s Martinez Little League.
