The 9-and-under Buford Wolves won the United States Specialty Sports Association First Division World Series on Sunday in Charlotte, N.C.

The Wolves defeated the Yadkin County All-Stars 15-14 to win the championship.

The win improves Buford’s season record to 20-8 and 19-7 against other 9-and-under teams.

USSSA Baseball is a developmental program that allows teams ranging from recreational teams to highly competitive teams at the national level to play against teams at their own skill level.
