Three North Georgia softball players named to PBC All-Conference first team

FLORENCE, S.C. - The Peach Belt Conference released the 2010 softball All-Conference team at a banquet in Florence, S.C., site of the 2010 PBC Tournament.

In all, 32 players were named to either the first or second team.

North Georgia outfielder Lauren Dykes, pitcher Sarah Phillips and designated hitter Leslee Smith were all named to the first team.

Laura Voyles, the team's second baseman, was named to the second team.

Phillips was named Pitcher of the Year for the PBC and North Georgia coach Mike Davenport was named Coach of the Year. 

The Saints (41-0), who finished as the PBC regular season champs, take on Lander at 11 a.m. today in the first round of the PBC Tournament.
