This week’s edition of Hall County Sports features a look at last Friday’s Hines Ward Golf Benefit at Royal Lakes Golf Course. Tournament namesake and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward talks about his efforts with the tourney and the Hines Ward Helping Hands Foundation. Flowery Branch football coach Lee Shaw talks about this event, which also helped benefit the Falcons football program.

Georgia Tech sophomore quarterback Jaybo Shaw, a Flowery Branch High graduate, talks about his first season and looking forward to next year with the Yellow Jackets.

Also, Gainesville Gladiators football co-owner and head coach Nate Stephens discusses the challenges of putting together a semi-professional football team.

Flowery Branch weightlifting coach C.J. Stockel also makes an appearance to preview the upcoming National School Age Olympic Weightlifting Championships, which open on June 19 at the Georgia Mountains Center.
