Gwinnett Braves starter Jo-Jo Reyes gave up a game-tying two-run home run to Valentino Pascucci in the top of the fourth inning and a 3-run shot by Jorge Padilla in the fifth, and the Buffalo Bisons beat the Gwinnett Braves 6-3 on Tuesday night at Coolray Field.

The G-Braves (33-39) took the early lead for the third consecutive game, but couldn’t hold a 3-1 advantage as the Chiefs (37-35) tied and took the lead on the two home runs.

Reyes (1-5) went five innings and yielded eight hits and six runs. He also walked two, gave up a pair of homers and struck out five batters.

Right fielder Mitch Jones returned to the lineup and went 4-for-4 with an RBI. Catcher J.C. Boscan had his second straight game with an RBI, finishing 1-for-4 with an RBI. First baseman Freddie Freeman extended his season-long hitting streak to 11 games, putting in a 1-for-4 performance.

Buffalo starter Pat Misch (6-3) went eight innings and allowed three runs on 10 hits. Padilla finished 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBIs and a stolen base, while Pascucci was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.

Gwinnett continues its four-game series against the Bisons at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday. The G-Braves will send RHP Todd Redmond (7-6, 4.18 ERA) to the hill against an undetermined starter for the Bisons.
