Ralston cards 2-under 69 in first round of RBC Heritage

Gainesville graduate Spencer Ralston got off to a hot start in his first ever PGA Tour event on Thursday. 

Ralston fired off five birdies in the first round of the RBC Heritage to card a 2-under 69 in his first 18 holes. Ralston's score has him 5 strokes off the lead, held by Ian Poulter and Mark Hubbard. He is currently tied for 45th with 22 other golfers, including Jim Furyk, Zach Johnson and Bubba Watson. 

Ralston will continue playing at the event in the second round on Friday.
