Teheran stellar again for G-Braves in win

The Gwinnett Braves beat the Scanton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees 4-1 on Saturday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

The win snapped a four-game losing streak.

Atlanta top prospect Julio Teheran won his third straight start, yielding just one unearned run on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven in six innings of work.

First baseman Mauro Gomez was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and left fielder Matt Young was 1-for-4 with an RBI.

The G-Braves and Scanton/Wilkes-Barre  play again Sunday at 2:05 p.m.
