Julio Teheran pitched eight strong innings, striking out eight while walking none as the Gwinnett Braves beat the Syracuse Chiefs 8-2 on Monday night at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.
Teheran improved to 7-1 while giving up two runs.
Stefan Gartrell continued his hot hitting, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs, and Wilfredo Boscan was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
The G-Braves and Chiefs play tonight at 7:05 p.m.
