The Gwinnett Braves beat the Durham Bulls 7-6 on Thursday night at Durham Athletic Park in Durham, N.C.

Gwinnett, who has been eliminated from the postseason, improves to 70-69 on the year. Third baseman Dan Nelson, making his first triple-A start, hit a home run and finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Gwinnett plays Durham at 7:05 p.m. today.
