The Gwinnett Braves defeated the Durham Bulls 6-4 on Friday at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C.
With the win, the G-Braves swept the two-game series with the International League Southern Division Champions. Gwinnett is now 71-69 on the season with three games left to play.
G-Braves center fielder Antone Richardson drew a bases-loaded walk in the top of the eighth to break a 4-4 tie and give Gwinnett the lead. Barbaro Canizares hit his 13th home run of the season in the ninth to give Gwinnett the two-run win.
Gwinnett visits the Charlotte Knights at 7:15 p.m. today in Fort Mill, S.C.
