First baseman Mauro Gomez had an RBI single in the eight inning and the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves defeated the Charlotte Knights 6-5 on Sunday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett right fielder Wilkin Ramirez finished the game 3 for 3 with an RBI and stolen base. Designated hitter Stefan Gartrell went hitless, but notched his league-leading 94th RBI.
