Yohan Flande threw seven three-hit, shutout innings to lead the Gwinnett Braves to a 4-0 win over Lehigh Valley on Tuesday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. Anthony Varvaro and Cory Gearrin combined on the three-hit shutout, giving the International League South-leading G-Braves their fifth straight victory. Flande (2-3) cruised through the first seven innings, surrendering just three hits and one walk, while striking out five.
