The Atlanta Braves Triple-A affiliate, the G-Braves, saw their losing streak extend to 11 games with a 3-1 defeat against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Empire State) Yankees on Tuesday in Rochester, N.Y. The Yankees broke a tie with two runs in the bottom of the eighth and walked away with a win at Frontier Field in the opener of the four-game series. Gwinnett has now lost 23 of its last 28 games. The G-Braves again had plenty of chances to score in the game, but could not capitalize.
