G-Braves rally for 6-4 win over Indianapolis

For the second straight game, Gwinnett shortstop Josh Wilson delivered the clutch hit as the G-Braves rallied with four runs in the top of the ninth to stun the Indianapolis Indians 6-4 in Game 3 of the four-game series at Victory Field. The G-Braves win ensures at least a series tie with the Indians. The G-Braves went to the top of the ninth trailing the Indians 4-2 and facing the Tribe’s closer, Tim Wood.

Police charge Gwinnett Braves player with rape

ATLANTA — A player for the Gwinnett Braves has been accused of raping a woman while on a trip to Columbus, Ohio. WGCL-TV (http://bit.ly/1KpmXCh) reports Elmer Reyes has been charged with kidnapping and rape in connection with the weekend incident at a Columbus hotel. Reyes is an infielder for the Braves.
