The Gwinnett Braves tied the score at 4-4 in the top of the ninth only to lose 5-4 in the 11th inning against the Rochester Red Wings on Wednesday in Rochester, N.Y. Brandon Roberts scored the tieing run for Gwinnett on a sacrifice fly from Nate McLouth.
Barbaro Canizares added a solo home run for Gwinnett in the third inning, and J.C. Boscan drove in a run on a double in the second inning. Matt Young scored on a Freddie Freeman double in the fifth inning.
Brandon Hicks finished the game 3-for-5 for the G-Braves. Gwinnett faces Rochester in Game 4 of the series at 7 p.m. tonight.
