The Gwinnett Braves lost 5-2 to the Syracuse Chiefs on Friday in its last game against an International League North Division foe of the regular season.
Pitcher Yohan Flande started for Triple-A Gwinnett and took his eighth loss of the season after going 4 1/3 innings and allowing four runs on 11 hits.
The G-Braves had 11 hits during the game two of which came from center fielder Wilkin Ramirez. Ramirez also added a stolen base.
The Gwinnett (69-58) now heads to Charlotte (56-67) for a four game home-and-home series with the Knights.
