Delgado sharp in first outing for G-Braves

Atlanta Braves pitching prospect Randall Delgado made his Triple-A debut with the Gwinnett Braves and threw six innings without allowing a run in a 4-0 win against the Charlotte Knights on Saturday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Mauro Gomez had a solo home run for the G-Braves (62-51). Matt Young added two hits for Gwinnett and scored when he stole home in the first inning. Shortstop Tyler Pastornicky added a hit with an RBI, extending his hitting streak to 11 games.

Delgado struck out nine while yielding just three hits and three walks.
