Clarkesville native and current Loyola Maryland student McKenzie Coan won her second-career gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday. Coan, who won her first career gold medal on Sept. 9, bested teammate and training partner Cortney Jordan to win the S7 400-meter freestyle with a time of five minutes, 77 seconds. Jordan finished with a time of 5:18.20.
