Lakeview Academy is hosting the “Hoops for Daniel” fundraising basketball clinic and 3-on-3 tournament for students in third-sixth grades on Dec. 29 at the school in Gainesville. The event benefits Daniel Olvera, a Lakeview Academy graduate who is currently fighting leukemia. The basketball clinic will feature five sessions with different coaches, while the tournament will feature teams from all over the county.
