The Tuesday Luna’s golf group played this week at Orchard Golf Course in Clarkesville.

First place went to the team of Bill Newsom, Anthony Barrett, Jerry Johns and Jim Cornett. Second place went to the team of Rich Baker, Jimmy Harritos, Don Smallwood and Frank House. Third place went to the team of Richard Strickland, Randy Gordy, Tom Sexton and Jerry Ward.

Closest to the pin winners were Newsom (No. 2), Rob Emerson (No. 7, No. 11) and Donnie W. Smith (No. 13).

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a three best ball, aggregated net points game Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.

First place went to the team of Harry Barnett, Jack Costello, Carlyle Cox and Leo Whalen. Second place went to the team of Denny Momper, AJ Kiker, Jim Carroll and Glynn Rogers. Third place went to the team of Jerry Ermlich, Johnny Little, Gary Palmer and J.B. Johnston. Fourth place went to the team of Guy Long, Stu Virgin, Joe Kolesar and Rolf Legbandt.

Closest to the pin winners were Cox (No. 3), Barnett (No. 5), Paul Payne (No. 12) and Bob Layne (No. 17).

The Wednesday Dogfight golf group played this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.

First place went to the team Tom Bolton, Jerry Horton, Tommy Calhoun, Mike Tilson and Bill Jorgenson.

Jorgenson and Greg Lee tied for first individually, followed by Calhoun in third.
