Chicopee Woods Golf Course played host to this week’s Wednesday Dogfight.

The team of Greg Lee, Mark Black, Tim Mille and Mark Maudsley won the game. Second place went to Tom Bolton, Sonny Sykes, Wayne Strickland and Yoko Komoto.

Bolton won individually. Jim Arendt and Jerry Horton tied for second. Mike Tilson, Lee, and Black finished fourth.

Closest to the hole winners were Arendt, Black, Clark and Dave Sellers.

Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association 

The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association held a low gross, low net tournament Tuesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.

In the first flight, Carolyn Palmer won the low gross and Ann White won the low net.

In the second flight, Paula Pilgrim won the low gross and Nora Gleason won the low net.

Closest to the pin winners were Gleason (No. 3) and Palmer (No. 12).

Chattahoochee Men's Golf Association

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played its monthly individual flighted strokes competition Wednesday.

In the white tee first flight, Jack Costello finished first, Warren Jahn finished second, Leroy Harper finished third and Paul Payne, John Williams and Jeff Ross tied for fourth.

In the white tee second flight, Harry Barnett finished first, Guy Long finished second, Eddie Johnson finished third, Roy Lyle finished fourth and Glynn Rogers finished fifth.

In the gold tee first flight, Gary Myers finished first, Don Sorrell finished second, Jim Holobaugh finished third, Bob Pyne finished fourth and J.B. Johnson and Jere Cochran tied for fifth.

In the gold tee second flight, Jim Carroll finished first, George Clegg finished second, Ron Hopley and Don Graff tied for third and John T. Smith finished fifth.

Closest to the pin winners were Hopley (No. 3), Holobaugh (No. 5), Harper (No. 12), Jeff Ross (No. 17).

Luna's Tuesday Golf Group 

The Luna’s Tuesday Golf Group played this week at Achasta Golf Course in Dahlonega.

First place went to the team of Daryl Dunckel, Tom Sexton, Jerry Johns and Ron Leggs Clark. Second place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr., Bud Chandler, Johnny Nix and Ronnie Ledford. Third place went to the team of Rob Emerson, Richard Strickland, Ken Chahoy and Grady Smith.

Closest to the pin winners were Chandler (No. 3), Nelson (No. 5), Strickland (No. 11) and Clark (No. 17).
