The Luna’s Tuesday Golf Group played this week at Orchard Golf Course in Clarkesville.
First place went to the team of Rob Emerson, Richard Strickland, Cleve Brown and Don Rogers. Second place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr., Steve Hill, Tommy Lowery and Doug McMahan. Third place was Bill Newsom, Tom Sexton, Doug Van and Jerry Ward.
Closest to the pin winners were Brown (No. 2), Newsom (No. 7), Emerson (No. 11), and Hill (No. 13).
CHATTAHOOCHEE MEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION: The Chattahoochee Men's Golf Association played a three best ball, aggregated net points game Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.
First place finished in a tie between the team of Buzz Hansen, John T. Smith, Gene Weschler and Harry Barnett and the team of Larry Cohan, Don Sorrell, Claude Schneider and AJ Kiker. Third Place went to the team of Roy Lyle, Ben Brooks, Bud Clegg and J.B. Johnston.
Closest to the pin winners were Harper (No. 3), Weschler (No. 5), Cohan (No. 12) and Chuck Landergott (No. 17).
WEDNESDAY DOGFIGHT: The Wednesday Dogfight golf group played this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.
First place went to the team of Larry Miller, Roger Stapp and Nick Hart. Second place went to the team of Jim Arendt, Bob Arendt and Bill Jorgenson.
Miller also finished first individually, Jorgenson finished second, and Greg Lee finished third.
