The Dedicated Players Group played three matches this week: Monday and Wednesday at Chicopee Woods Golf Course and Friday at Chattahoochee Golf Club.

Steve Knowles took home first place Monday with a score of +9. Wednesday’s match resulted in a first place tie between Doug Padgett and Jerry Shell with Dwight Miller coming in at third with a -2.

Friday’s team play was won by Terrence Dale and Norm Phillips with a +15 while Horace Smallwood took first place in the individual competition with a +4.

LUNA’S: The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played at Royal Lakes this week.

First place went to the team of Michael Gordy, Johnny Nix, Frank House and Jerry Johns. The team of Gene Weschler, Tommy Lowery, Chad Pierce and Ken Chahoy took second while third place went to the team of Nelson Wright, Randy Gordy, Gene Cobb and Doug McMahan.

Closest to the pin winners were Lowery (No. 4), Don Rogers (No. 8), Wright (No. 14) and Weschler (No. 16).

CMGA: The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two best-ball aggregated net-stroke game Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Club.

The team of John T. Smith, Eddie Johnson, Leory Harper and Dave Long grabbed first place. Bob Watson, Ed Pledger, Gene Weschler and Greg Taira teamed up to earn second place while the team of Johnny Little, Bob Pyne, Denny Momper and Nick Grillo finished in third.

Closest to the pin winners were Don Gage on No. 3, Harper on No. 5, Eddie Johnson on No. 12 and Momper on No. 17.

CLGA: The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a Texas scramble at Chattahoochee Golf Club on Wednesday. Mona White, Joanne Stone and Riki Von Stroud placed first.

Closest to the pin winners were Von Stroud on No. 3 and White on No. 17.
