Chicopee Woods held a Wednesday Dogfight this week.

Shannon Kent, Bill Jorgenson, Richard Drye and Jeff Frasier finished first. Roger Stapp, Wayne Groebli, Frank Bambarger and Mike Zeigler placed second.

Frasier finished first individually and Groebli and Walter Hope tied for second. Stapp and Bob Arendt tied for fourth and Kent and Mark Black tied for sixth.

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two-ball net points game on Thursday.

The team of Jimmy Johnson, Ken Bailey and Warren Jahn finished won with 72 points. Second place went to the team of Stu Virgin, Joe Kolesar, Gene Weschler and J.B. Johnston (71). Third place went to the team of Claude Schneider, Dennis Jones, Gary Myers and Larry Cohan (70). Fourth place went to the team of Denny Momper, Bob Henderson, Dick Freeman and Doug Van (68). The team of Jere Cochran, Bob Watson, A.J. Kiker and John Beane tied the team of Dave Gleason, Bob Pyne, Lee Bowers and Eddie Johnson (65).

Closest to the pin winners were Dave Long (No. 3), Bob Watson (No. 5), Tony Denote (No. 12) and Bob Pyne (No. 17)

The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played this week at Apple Mountain Golf Course in Clarkesville.

The team of Jeff Sanford, Steve Hill, Royce Deaton, and C.J. Campbell finished first. Second place went to the team of Joe Campbell, Gene Cobb, Don Smallwood, and Doug McMahan. Third place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr., Don Williams, Grady Smith, and Stan Davidson Sr.

Closest to the pin winners were Johnny Nix (No. 4), Richard Strickland (No. 7), Larry Dyer (No. 11) and Steve Hill (No. 15).

The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a Points Event on Tuesday.

First place went to Peggy Hall, second place went to Paula Pilgrim and third place went to Betty Norton.
