Inaugural Times Football Media Day set for July 31

The Times will be hosting its first-ever Football Media Day, starting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, in Gainesville.

The event, which will be streamed live on the Gainesville Times’ Facebook page, showcases 10 Hall County programs: Cherokee Bluff in its inaugural season, Chestatee, East Hall, Flowery Branch, Gainesville, Johnson, Lakeview Academy, North Hall, Riverside Military Academy and West Hall. 

Those tuning into this live stream will be introduced to coaches and players from each team in a press conference format. Fans can get their first glimpse of Hall County newcomer Cherokee Bluff, learn of some trending topics and get answers to some burning questions surrounding their beloved local programs.

Each participating school will have a 15-minute Facebook Live segment.

Event sponsors include Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Jackson Electric Membership Corporation, Liberty Utilities, BGW Dental Group and Chick-fil-A of Gainesville.
