As a freshman, White County’s Jenna Gearing has taken the Class AAA long distance events by storm. Already a cross country state champion, Gearing finished in first place in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11 minutes, 21 seconds at the Class AAA girls track state meet on Thursday at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany. She also took second place in Friday’s 1600 event with a time of 5:22.09.
