Three White County High softball players and coach John Brown were honored by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association on Thursday.

Brown was named the Class AAA Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Warriors to a 30-6 record and the first state softball championship in school history.

Senior Stephanie Satterfield received honors as Class AAA’s Player of the Year and was named to the all-state first team.

Sarabeth Cummins was named second team all-state and Morgan Jacobson was an honorable mention.
