Buford defeated Hart County in five sets 26-24, 19-25, 17-25, 25-7, 17-15 on Wednesday night in Hartwell to move on to the second round of the Class AAA volleyball state tournament. Maggie Roper led the Lady Wolves with 21 kills, 20 digs and three aces. Kaitlin Tatum added 13 kills and four blocks, and Mikhayla Riegel had 26 digs.
