Tyler Ward and Haughton Carswell each scored 15 for the Lakeview Academy boys basketball team in a 81-59 win against Hebron Christian on Saturday night in Dacula. Daniel Olvera and Brett Armour each added 10 for the Lions (3-5).
Lakeview Academy ran to victory after taking a 24-9 lead into the second quarter.

Maddie Haymore and Brittany Moore each scored 13 points to pace the Lady Lions (4-3, 2-0 Region 8-AA) on Saturday night in Dacula. Louisa Jacobs scored 11 and Megan Rochester added 10 for Lakeview Academy.
Lakeview Academy led 14-2 after the first quarter.
Buford girls 65, East Hall 38
Andraya Carter scored 15 and Blanche Alverson added 11 for the Lady Wolves (4-1) on Saturday night in the North Georgia-Achasta Challenge in Dahlonega. Karly Fullem scored 10 for Buford.
Buford led 21-6 after the first quarter and pushed its lead to 38-12 by halftime.
Symone Hampton led the Lady Vikings with 10.
Buford next faces North Cobb in the Deep South Classic at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brookwood High in Snellville.
East Hall boys 91, Buford 58
Kevin Blackwell led the Vikings (3-3) with 14 points and Ashton Cheeks scored 11 on Saturday night at the North Georgia-Achasta Classic in Dahlonega. Dustin Duckworth, Kymmon Woods and Kiante Young each finished with 10 for East Hall.
Charles Perry had seven points and seven assists for the Vikings.
East Hall faces McDonough High (New Orleans) in the Playground Classic at 12:15 p.m. Friday in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
Kennesaw Mountain girls 57, Chestatee 42
Brooke Peck scored 10 and Peyton Robertson added nine for the Lady War Eagles in the Highway 78 Tournament in Villa Rica.
Chestatee plays next at 4 p.m. Monday at Villa Rica.
Dawson County boys 53, Sonoraville 45
Blyth Chester led the Tigers (6-3) with 10 points Saturday night in Sonoraville.
Dawson County visits Oglethorpe County on Jan. 6 in Lexington.
Sonoraville girls 52, Dawson County girls 47
Morgan Bennett led the Lady Tigers (2-7) with 15 points and Jessi Phillips scored 14 on Saturday night in Sonoraville. Sonoraville pulled away to victory by outscoring Dawson County 23-16 in the fourth quarter.
Dawson County visits Oglethope County on Jan. 6 in Lexington.
Wrestling
The West Hall High wrestling team placed third in the Rumble on the Ridge Tournament on Saturday at Fannin County High in Blue Ridge. The Spartans picked up wins against Towns County (60-20), Fannin County (48-33) and Murphy (N.C.) 63-18.
Tanner Yates, Omar Lopez and Lee Fyfe each finished with four pins for West Hall. Logan Herford, Antonio Ramirez and Tyler Baker each had three pins for the Spartans. Diego Rivero had a pair of pins for West Hall.
Ingram takes second at Santa Slam
East Hall’s Chris Ingram finished second at 119-pounds at the Santa Slam wrestling tournament on Saturday at South Forsyth High. Ingram finished with five pins en route to the runner-up finish.
