The East Hall girls basketball team led 31-14 at halftime and 55-19 after three en route to a 71-25 rout of Whitefield Academy on Saturday in Mableton.

Sophomore point guard Jasmine Jenkins led the way for the Lady Vikings (17-5, 9-1 Region 7B-AAA) with a game-high 14 points while teammate Taylor Bishop scored a career-high 11.

Jasmine Butler scored nine points and Morgan Jackson and Dorreka Faulkner added eight points each for East Hall.

The Lady Vikings next play host to Lambert at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

WEST HALL GIRLS 47, WHITE COUNTY 23: Senior Bailey Soucie led the Lady Spartans with 14 points, including three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, in their win Saturday night on Senior Night at West Hall.

Amber Johnson added 13 points for West Hall (5-17, 2-9 Region 7B-AAA).

The Lady Spartans return to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday when they play host to Johns Creek.

WEST HALL BOYS 61, WHITE COUNTY 52: Jarquise Young and Dre Pou led the Spartans with 16 points each in their win Saturday night at West Hall.

Shunquez Stephens added 13 for West Hall (14-9, 5-6 Region 7B-AAA).

White County was led in scoring by Ashely Lowery (18), Luke Crumley (16) and Tyler Dotson (14).

The Spartans next play host to Johns Creek at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

TOWNS COUNTY GIRLS 50, LAKEVIEW 48: After the Lady Lions tied the score at 48 on a late 3-pointer, Towns County responded with a layup at the buzzer to earn the win Saturday in Hiawassee.

Maddie Haymore led Lakeview (7-12, 5-9 Region 8-A) with 22 points and Louisa Jacobs had 15.

Towns County was led by Lindsay Patton with 20 points.

Lakeview next plays host to Athens Academy at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

LAKEVIEW BOYS 60, TOWNS COUNTY 40: Jackson Wells scored 15 points to lead the Lions to a win Saturday night in Hiawassee.

Bradley Swanson led the way for Towns County with 12 points.

Lakeview returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when it plays host to Athens Academy.

BUFORD GIRLS 64, GAINESVILLE 32: Andraya Carter had 18 points to lead the Lady Wolves in their win Saturday in Gainesville.

Alysha Rudnik added 14 points for Buford (20-2, 10-1 Region 6-AA).

Jaymee Carnes led Gainesville with 16 points.

Buford returns to action Tuesday at Decatur while Gainesville next plays at 6 p.m. Tuesday at West Forsyth.

GAINESVILLE BOYS 78, BUFORD 54: Blake Sims scored 21 points to lead the Red Elephants on Saturday night at Gainesville.

Quan Holcomb added 18 points and A.J. Johnson 12 for Gainesville (12-8, 8-2 Region 7B-AAA).

Buford was led by Kyle Kellam with 14 points and Jamal English with 10.

Gainesville returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at West Forsyth. Buford next plays at Tuesday at Decatur.

JEFFERSON GIRLS 38, EAST JACKSON 24: Skylar Evanson scored 15 points to lead Jefferson on Saturday at East Jackson.

The Lady Dragons (8-15) return to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Banks County.

JEFFERSON BOYS 75, EAST JACKSON 56: J.J. Damons scored 19 points to lead the Dragons to a subregion-clinching win Saturday night in Jefferson.

Jefferson has now won 10 games in a row.

The Dragons (17-6, 8-0 Region 8B-AA) next play at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Banks County.

UNION COUNTY GIRLS 68, DAWSON COUNTY 50 (Friday): Morgan Bennett led the Lady Tigers with 13 points in their loss Friday night.

Hannah Porter had 11 points, nine from 3-pointers, for Dawson County (10-9, 3-6 Region 8A-AA).

Union County (10-9, 4-4) was led by Angie Hughes with 23 points.
