The Riverside Military Academy’s award-winning baseball field will be dedicated as Katterjohn Field at 5 p.m. Friday. The field was chosen as the Georgia High School Association Region 8-A “Field of the Year” for the 2010-11 season. A donation to benefit baseball at Riverside Military was made by alumnus Karl R. Katterjohn of Asheville, N.C. Katterjohn will throw out the first pitch of the game Friday against Lakeview Academy.
