All of the scheduled games for the boys and girls Region 7-AAA basketball tournaments have been postponed until Thursday, due to the winter weather.
All games are now expected to be made up on Thursday at the same times as previously set.
Those games include:
at West Hall
4:30 p.m. — Banks County girls vs. Franklin County
6 p.m. — West Hall girls vs. Fannin County
7:30 p.m. — East Hall girls vs. Lumpkin County
at East Hall
4:30 p.m. – Lumpkin County boys vs Dawson County
6 p.m. – West Hall boys vs Fannin County
7:30 p.m. – East Hall boys vs Franklin County
Soccer
Riverside Military Academy announced Wednesday morning that the school's junior varsity and varsity soccer games against Hebron Christian have been cancelled. There is no reschedule date known at this time.
Tennis
West Hall announced Wednesday morning that the tennis program will not make up its scheduled home opener against Dacula. The Spartans will travel to play Jefferson on Thursday.
UPDATED 11:42 A.M. WEDNESDAY
Three of Tuesday's scheduled Region 7-AAA basketball tournament games will be postponed until Wednesday because of expected inclement weather.
Tuesday's schedule at East Hall High included Lumpkin County boys vs. Dawson County (4:30 p.m.), West Hall boys vs. Fannin County (6 p.m.) and East Hall boys vs Franklin County (7:30 p.m.).
Instead, the boys games will be moved to Wednesday at East Hall starting at 4:30 p.m. The girls games, which were scheduled to take place at East Hall on Wednesday, will now be played at West Hall beginning at 4:30 p.m.
• The Region 8-AAAA tournament games scheduled for Tuesday were postponed. Wednesday's schedule now is as follows: Double up on Wednesday’s games at Buford (4 p.m. No. 4 vs No. 5 girls; 5:30 p.m., No. 4 vs No. 5 boys; 7 p.m., No. 1 vs play-in winner girls; 8:30 p.m. No. 1 vs play-in winner boys; North Hall hosts at previously scheduled times of 6 and 7:30 p.m.; North Oconee hosts at previously scheduled times of 6 and 7:30 p.m.; off Thursday; semifinals Friday and finals Saturday unchanged at Stephens County
• Two soccer games have been postponed by the weather: North Hall at Lumpkin County and Johnson at Flowery Branch.
