As birthdays go, Houston Quesenberry’s felt like a piece of cake. The former West Hall outfielder smacked a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to secure a 5-5 tie for the FCA West team during Saturday’s inaugural FCA East-West Classic at Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. Quesenberry, who played only one full game during his senior year, won the event’s Home Run Derby earlier in the day before smacking the all-star game’s lone homer in the final inning with one out to score himself and teammate Micah Strickland.
